It’s only for the next five weeks, it’s only in the Big Apple and it’s only available on mobile devices, but the Wall Street Journal is offering absolutely free, high-speed, wifi access throughout the city through the month of September. And as far as we’re concerned, even limited free internet access is better than no internet access at all.
Here’s how the WSJ explains the program:
“To access, locate The Wall Street Journal WiFi Network on your mobile device.
New users and print subscribers must register for a free Wall Street Journal digital account. Current Journal digital subscribers and existing free registered users of WSJ.com can use their existing log-in credentials to access the network.”
There are literally hundreds and hundreds of Wall Street Journal wifi hot spots located throughout the Big Apple’s five boroughs. And to make it even easier for you, the WSJ’s website lists them all.
So if you live in the New York City area, take advantage of this great, free offer while you can.
And keep checking here at CheapInternet.com for other great deals. We’re always hunting for ways to help America’s needy get low cost access to the internet and as soon as we find them, we’ll let you know.
